The readiness challenge

Individual readiness does not prove collective readiness.

McKinsey’s 2015 research estimated that 98% of megaprojects suffered cost overruns above 30%, while 77% were at least 40% late. Readiness gaps are one source of delivery risk: missing capability or an unresolved supplier dependency can hold up later phases.
